Learn about learning

There are some wonderful free resources that help students and their teachers (that includes parents) understand what’s involved in learning and how best to do so.  I can highly recommend these resources.

I’ve suggested this free online course with parents or educational professionals in mind. While students might benefit from completing it, time is a very precious commodity when revising, and this probably isn’t the best use of their time.

With my own children I often act as the personal assistant when they are revising, freeing them up to concentrate on learning. 

 

Having done this course, I was in a better position to support their learning.
