Teens

Transform your teenagers’ study habits

With a few exceptions, most teenagers struggle with the discipline and motivation to study. Grumbling and procrastination are the norm.  Heated interactions (“get on with your homework or I’ll take your iPhone away!”) can be part of your normal week as parents worry about the potential consequences of their teen’s disengagement and lack of effort.

COULD TECHNOLOGY HELP YOUR TEENAGER BE MORE PRODUCTIVE?

However, it doesn't have to be this way. Teenagers are usually significantly more fluent with modern technology than their parents.  Whilst parents can see IT as being a distraction to effective revision and study, it can actually prove transformative.  Technology is available to help your teenagers study more effectively.  It can make revision easier, more effective and makes learning MUCH more interesting.

Learn how to STUDY MORE EFFECTIVELY AND GET GREAT RESULTS

At Achieve Now we are increasingly asked to teach children of all ages directly.  Particularly we have developed two successful workshops focused on empowering teenagers and young adults to learn more effectively and use technology to their advantage.   These workshops have proven incredibly beneficial for all students, not just those with dyslexia.  Please contact us directly to enquire about these workshops.

Achieve Clubs

We run Clubs for secondary school students to introduce them to strategies and technologies to help them study more efficiently.  We then work with each student to help them apply this knowledge to their own work. This can be done as part of the school day or in after-school clubs. Either way we have a track record of significantly improving the grades achieved by our students.

Skype Calls

For students who cannot attend weekly school session, we can introduce and apply the content of our Achieve Clubs on a 1:1 basis.

Delivering workshops in schools

Having achieved academic success against the odds, (dyslexia and attending a VERY poor comprehensive school) Caroline is passionate about helping children who want to succeed in education.  If a secondary school would like to provide this ½ day session to it’s students but does not have the finances to pay for it, Caroline will deliver it free of charge during the school day and only charge expenses.  She is only able to offer this to schools were travel time is not excessive.  Send her an email request.
