At Achieve Now, the effective use of IT is seen as a vital ingredient to helping dyslexics learn and achieve academically.  However there is a plethora of technology out there of varying quality – how would you even know how to start?

Through my practical experience with dyslexic learners, I have researched and tested many educational technologies.  This workshop aims to familiarise attendees with the vast range of technologies available and how they can support dyslexic learners.

ACHIEVE NOW CAN HELP YOU QUICKLY NAVIGATE THE HUGE RANGE OF LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES AVAILABLE FOR DYSLEXICS.  WE DO NOT SELL ANY PRODUCTS SO WE ARE ABLE TO GIVE INDEPENDENT ADVICE.

Workshop details

We run workshops designed to introduce the vast range of technology available, such as apps and software programmes, to help transform learning and ultimately boost confidence and motivation.

What do they cover?

Workshop are designed to save attendees time as few can keep up with today's ever advancing technology.

They provide a good understanding of:

  • What is available
  • The cost
  • Pros and cons of each solution
  • Real life problems encountered
  • How problems have been overcome

A wealth of information is provided to enable attendees to get up and running using products themselves quickly.  Many solutions are included, because one size doesn't fit all.

Who should attend?
The workshop is suitable for anyone interested in IT for dyslexics including parents, teachers, tutors, adult dyslexics, or older children.

How can I book?
Workshops are often requested and organised by a particular school or organisation at a convenient location. This allows the content to be tailored to meet specific needs and can reduce or simplify costs. Often, interested parents and teachers learn together, encouraging a productive collaboration between home and school that benefits all the children.

Contact us if you would like to host a workshop, .  If distance or logistics prevents you attending, please let me know as when there is sufficient demand I will schedule a webinar.

Occasionally workshops are scheduled at a cost of £20 per person, to find out details of what is scheduled contact us.

‘An excellent presentation, packed with information to take home and digest at our leisure.’
I shall be constantly referring to your slides and look forward to practising many of the suggestions. I am putting some of the recommendations in a report that I am writing at the moment.
I really do think IT is the way to go for dyslexic learners.
